Good food and service

FAST! 15 minute! No seriously, quick food. Exceptional taste and one of the best Chinese Restaurants around. They have a vast menu, only missing sushi, that conquers most souls delights of appetite. Their service has always been polite and they remodeled the inside a few years ago, which helped keep a great imagine. Most restaurants in the area don't update at all, so this is pleasing to see that they don't just keep the money in their pocket, but keep it going towards their business.

Delicious as always! Always our go to if we can't decide what we want for lunch.

The China Pavilion has been a favorite stop of mine in Taylorville for quite a few years. The food is always fresh and we'll seasoned, the variety is great, and they have an excellent hot tea that is light, refreshing, slightly floral flavored, and pairs very well with their meals. It's always clean and the staff is friendly and attentive, but not overbearingly so. If you are in Taylorville and want good food, China Pavilion is the place to stop!

The food was decent

I haven't been to China Pavilion for a few years. This is still one of the best Chinese restaurants around. The staff were very friendly. Our orders were taken quickly and we received our drinks and soup within minutes. Our entrees arrived as we were finishing our soup. The food very good and fresh and the waitress kept our drinks filled. I would go to China Pavilion every time I come to Taylorville. Prices were very reasonable.

The food here used to be great and was our go to restaurant for Chinese food but has gone downhill fast. The last couple times have been bad experiences. We ate here a few days ago and ordered the general tso's entrees. The chicken was fatty and the broccoli that came with it was bad.

Me and my coworker stopped here for lunch. Both of us felt queezy when we left and my coworker actually had to pull over to vomit. I'm not sure why that was, but probably not coming back.

The food here is excellent, by far the best Chinese food in Taylorville. Portions are big if you get the large, big enough for 2 people. Prices are reasonable and I have never had a long wait time. Very nice atmosphere and clean dining area and bathrooms.

Come visit my friend in town a lot, am always glad to stop in here and eat! This place is great, food is delicious and always piping hot! Restaurant has a very friendly atmosphere and staff is always friendly!

The best sesame chicken! It was lunch time and they were super kind and friendly as well as quick in getting our orders out. Great food and sweet tea! I'd go back!

This is by far the best place to eat in Taylorville. The prices are reasonable for the big portion of food. I have tried many of the items on their menu and they all are great. The staff is great and always friendly. Environment is not super impressive but it's not terrible.

The restaurant is clean and the food is fantastic.

Ordinarily we order takeout. However my oldest daughter and I enjoy dining in. You can sit wherever you like. Generally there isn't a wait for seating. Even the lunch portions are large. We never finish and normally bring home food. The service is quick and friendly. They always keep our beverages refilled.

Only place I've ever been that charges you $1.50 extra per item to carry out. PLUS $1.00 per item to modify (take out onions or whatever) Food good, place is a joke. Rather eat QQ and not be screwed on my $$. That and they are rude.

Used to be my favorite Chinese restaurant but recently ordered Happy Family meal and I threw up!Something in it was bad. I didnt even get thru the meal or digest the food before I got sick.

They changed the shrimp. It was bigger and tender. Now its smaller and tough.

Great food, fast and friendly service. Inside has plenty of seating, with windows on the south end of the building, which gives the interior plenty of lighting. Would be nice if they had the kitchen out in the lobby for more transparency, like some of the Japanese restaurants do up north. Pricing was pretty good too, as I got plenty of food to go with leftovers for under 10bucks. Check out the menu and grab a bite when you're in the area!

We have been eating here ever sense they opened in Taylorville. Wonderful family owned. Watched the children grow up and add their warm personalities to the place. Love the variety of oriental cuisine They have the best soups and crab ragon anywhere. Willing to make a change to suit your taste in most cases.

Never a bad meal here. It's always hot and fresh and quick. They have by far the best egg rolls and crab rangoon. I never use a menu and always order the amazing chicken extra spicy. The staff is amazing along with the owners and their sons and daughter. They have carryout and dine in and good hours. Lunch is a lunch portion but still plenty to eat. Their low main noodles are also amazing. Never had a bad item here or bad service

If you are looking for good, affordable Chinese food that isn't your basic run-of-the-mill "China Express" look no further! We pulled up and the outside looked a little sparse, almost would have thought it was closed had it not been for the open sign. We walked in and its a simple, clean dining area with a nicer area with white leather seating on the other half (I assume for renting out). I would suggest to them to get some ambience music, I hate only hearing silverware hit plates while I'm eating. Menu was small but adequate, a little confusing though -- had a difficult time figuring out what was still available for lunch and what came with what sides. I got the Bang Bang dish which was a yummy curry plate while my boyfriend had beef fried rice that he said was loaded with meat! The wonton soup was delicious as well! They also serve these "chips" on your table that dip well into practically anything. Will return next time we are in Taylorville.

Use to love going there food good but the help is slow careless not prompt waited 15 min be waited on and no dishes for sauce had to ask for everything needed!

Great food, good prices, friendly, and quick. Good portion size. My second visit here and both times they've been very good.
